Each carrier in the cabin must pay a $50 Pet-in-Cabin charge for every one-way flight, with no more than two (2) pets per carrier. This cost must be paid at the time the reservation is made. Because the carrier must fit beneath the seat, customers flying with pet carriers are not permitted to sit in exit rows, one row before or after an exit row, or in bulkhead seats for safety concerns. To make a reservation with a pet, call the Allegiant Reservation Center, select option 1 and inform the agent that you are making a reservation with a pet, as per Allegiant Airlines Pet Policy. Booking fees for each section will be waived.
What are Allegiant pet policy service charges?
Fees are charged either per person or per segment, or both. A segment consists of a single takeoff and landing.

Live animals/pets (domestic cats and dogs only) are allowed in the passenger cabin of Allegiant. Passengers with impairments and their assistance animals are exempt from the fee.
Animals – Allegiant Contract of Carriage
Live animals will only be transported in the passenger cabin. They will not be transported as checked baggage. Domestic dogs and cats are the only live animals allowed on board, and they must be carried in a hard-sided or soft-sided, leak-proof container that fits beneath a seat. The airline’s carry-on luggage restrictions include such a type of kennel or carrier. External dimensions of all pet carriers must not exceed nine inches by sixteen inches by nineteen inches (9″ X 16″ x 19″). Inside the container, pets must be able to stand and turn. The CSA/GOA will assess if there is enough room for any pet (s).
How Allegiant Pet Policy provide assistance to passengers with animals?
The carrier allows dogs and other service animals used by people with disabilities to travel with them in the passenger cabin for free. Harnesses or harness marks; or genuine verbal guarantees from the person with a handicap employing the animal.
The provision of identity cards, tags, or other written documents will be accepted as proof that the carrier is a service animal. Unless the animal obstructs an aisle or other area that must remain unobstructed to facilitate an emergency evacuation, the Carrier will allow a service animal to accompany a qualified individual with a disability in either a bulkhead seat or a seat other than a bulkhead seat, as the individual prefers.
